Amy Lou Miller is a writer and editor born and raised in Southern California. She received her B.A in Liberal Studies from Chapman University, and later a teaching credential in secondary English. Since then, Amy has traveled the world as an educator and advocate for literacy alongside organizations such as The World Literacy Foundation and Room to Read. Her debut children’s book, Wild, Wild Voices (Second Swan Press), is due in the Fall of 2017, soon to be followed by her forthcoming poetry collection, Sweetwater, in 2018. When Amy’s not at a desk, she’s doing other things marked by introversion, like wondering why she’s releasing her intimate thoughts to the public on purpose. She has high hopes to build up this bio substantially in the seasons to come.
